Idol Fanatic has come up with a new application on Facebook which has created a new way to vote for your favorite idol via Facebook. So far it allows you to give out 5 votes and gives you more votes for inviting more friends. Personally I think that its a little inconvenient because you have to go through a phone verification system.

Here's what happens next: (this was copied off of facebook)

• Vote for your favorite show contestants through Idol Fanatic.
• You'll get 5 votes to start, and 1 extra vote for every Facebook friend you invite.
• You can cast votes using the Idol Fanatic app at any time.
• Idol Fanatic will try to submit your votes during the official American Idol voting period, which is two hours after the show ends -- usually 10:00 PM - 12:00 AM local time (depending on when the show airs in your area).
• Idol Fanatic calls in the votes using your Caller ID.
• Please place your votes early. Don't wait until the end of the voting period to log your votes, or Idol Fanatic may not be able to call your votes in on time.
• Your vote counter is reset after each week’s results are aired, so remember to vote again before the next show!
• Your votes are included in the official tally!
